The word Aaiko means ‘beloved’ in Japanese, and in Germanic it means ‘fierce’. Both words are accurate for this lovely collection: dresses, tops and knits – from pretty basics to eye-catching prints and colours. The affordable Dutch brand has already gained a steady following among self-assured women across the globe.
More about Aaiko
ABOUT THE BRAND
Ten years ago, Dutch fashion designer Pauline Brakenhof founded Aaiko: a new fashion brand for the self-assured woman. In the first year Aaiko gained international success and now, in 2015, Aaiko has stores in twelve different countries, with Little Soho as it’s favourite online store. Beloved and fierce, the two translations of the word Aaiko, form the base for Aaiko’s collections.
STYLE FAVOURITES FW16
The clothing collection of Aaiko is contemporary, confident but still modest. The garments contain luxury basics which fit in every kind of wardrobe, but also more quirky designs made of experimental materials. Aaiko’s fall/winter 2016 collection contains black and white, turtlenecks and playful prints.
Create a stylish look in just a second with one of Aaiko’s stunning blouses. Blouse Gian is basic, while blouse Zepp Zigzag is a true eye-catcher during a night out. Also modern office looks can be found at Aaiko. Combine trousers Carrol with longsleeve top Robbin for a simple yet oh-so-sophisticated on-duty outfit. For full bohemian flair you opt for maxi dress Zephyr, that provides the perfect feminine look with its print.
