How to wear: how do you combine velvet?

Where we saw a lot of black and red velvet clothing last year, the velvet trend is getting a colorful upgrade this season and we are going for velvet items in green, purple, blue, ocher yellow and soft pink. How do you combine this rich material? Read on soon!

What exactly is velvet?

Velvet, known in English as velvet, is a fabric in which small loops are woven into short fluffy piles, creating a shiny effect. This luxurious fabric originates from Asia and became popular in Europe around 1600. In the past, velvet was really a material for the rich and although velvet is now accessible to everyone, the fabric still has the same luxurious look.
