Leather, leather everywherer
Leather pants, leather leggings, leather biker jackets, lammy coats: again, leather is fully present on the streets and in the collections this season. Where we’ve seen a lot of black leather pants and leggings past season, the trend is getting more extensively this time around. For example, we’re spotting a lot of neutrals (hello tonal looks) and leather blouses & tops to match with your trousers. If full-leather outfits are a bit too far out of your comfort zone, knitwear will do the trick too!
Keep it cozy
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from 2020, it would be the fact that we’re all choosing comfort if given the chance! Forget buttoning-up blouses, jumping in tight skinny’s and balancing on pumps – athleisure is the new way to go. But luckily for us, cozy doesn’t mean giving in on style. These sweaters, joggers and luxury knits are the perfect proof!
Just when we finally figured out how to store all our day-to-day stuff in one of those tiny mini bags, the fashion universe all of a sudden decides to change tracks this year. But we have to admit: as soon as we saw these puffer bags by Studio AR, we instantly became forgiving and were more than happy to expand our purse essential selection again.
Although we’re automatically gravitating to black in dark months of the year, summery white is an easy way to look chic and minimalistic during winter too. Wear this colour from head-to-toe and you’ll exude a sumptuous and expensive-looking type of sophistication – even if you didn’t spend a fortune on it. And because of this, we take the risk of stains for granted with pleasure! ;)
Regardless of whether you’ve got a trip to the mountains planned, (après-)ski-inspired-looks can’t be missing from your wardrobe this season. From Fair Isle knits to chunky boots – winter sports-chic is the style we’re going to see everywhere as soon as the temperatures drop.
Puffer it up
Trends have been known to come and go, but with the puffer coat it’s starting to seem like it’s got staying power! From long to short designs and from bodywarmers to real coats – they’re here in all shapes and sizes again this season. And it can definitely count on our approval, because let’s be honest: how comfy and warm is this winter must-have?!
